Sony VA-500 Color Play Back Adapter
For many Betacams
A VA-500 From the Sony Broadcast Division. 4 channel audio. This is used to connect to and provide color play-back from a field camera to a video monitor or to feed another device like a switcher SEG, VCR, or microwave transmitter, Works with almost all Betacams like BVW-400, 400A, 300, 300A, UVW-100, 100A, D-30 with VA-3, or other deck, and others. It all works correctly. I have the multi-pin cable, I forgot to photo it. Asking $400

Sony Betacam BVW-300A camcorder -- parting out
Many of these parts are common to other models of Betacams, like the 400A,400,300,200 etc.
Most of the plug-in "cards" that make up the bulk of the camera electronics, and the "mother-board". Also the "optical-block" of 3 chips and the prism and other associated optics and drive electronics on the "block". The transport and heads are available, perhaps the whole transport assembly which unplugs and removes as a group, can be transplanted to another cameracorder to get it going. This camera worked when "canibalized" for the viewfinder, mic and power-supply to get a 400A camera running, so, the remaining parts are (were?) OK. As there may be some unforseen compatability factors, I will offer a money back "guarantee" on these parts. If you buy anything and it fails to work for you, full refund upon return, less shipping.
These cards would cost hundreds perhaps thousands from Sony.
Now asking $170 per card, with a 10% discount for multiple cards purchased.
Or the whole set of 12 available boards for $1000

The 3 CCD Broadcast optical block -- $250.
The Transport Assembly, including the video heads --$475
